G is for Guilt
Someday Isaac’s going to realize what pizza really is. And what it’s not. It’s not whole wheat pita bread, toasted with olive oil, covered in marinara sauce, sprinkled with cut-up chicken nuggets — no cheese. My little dairy-allergic guy was thrilled, though, and wolfed it down in slurpy silence. This Mommy felt a little badly that all he got was this lame-o quilted-together pizza all healthy and sans casein.
But today is G-day. We found Green things. We played a new Game. We made a Gift for Grandpa. We tried to Give Gavin the Giggles, and he Grinned Great biG. Then he Got Gas.
Later when we walk, we’ll wear Glasses. Great!
