Rainy Days and M-Days
We tackled “M” on this rainy, sweaty day. Our feeble attempts at wearing out the terrierist and the tot were creative at least. We made tie-dye beads. We did pasta art and made stickers out of lime jello and magazine “M” pictures (Milk, Martin Luther King, Jr., Mailbox, Mop, Mixer, Mower, Mouse, and Muffin). We made milk-free muffins, too. We ended the afternoon making our own music with the maestro.
Isaac just called himself a “sticker boy” because even in the A/C he is peeling his back from the leather couch. October’s only a few months away.

oh, you’re inspiring me… I want to try that pasta art!
I’m going to start the Letter of the Week preparatory curriculum with C next week… the Theme one. Maybe we’ll do some pasta cows (next weeks theme.)
Wait- did you do all those craft projects today??? The beads, stickers & pasta?!?! if so, you over-achiever you.

If he’s a sticker boy, then I’m a poster girl.

definitely reason to *not* buy a leather couch — thanks for that imagery!
henry was “sticker man” the other night because he covered himself with stickers of reptiles from his sticker book. i wanted to introduce to him the idea of tattoos but, alas, my better half thought better of it. ::shifty::
