April 20th, 2007 -- Posted in Love, Remember | 4 Comments »I just have to brag on these little gentlemen in my life. No, wait, Isaac wants to be called a “gentleboy.”
Gavin took 2 steps last Saturday and 4 last night. He stood up independently for about 30 seconds too since he was holding on to two little people to “help” or so he thought. He signs “all done” and tries to do “please.” And “bye-bye” too. His favorite word is “GASP!” He loves to gasp at new things he sees. And this child actually eats with a fork! Amazing.
Sugar and Gavin are best buds. They like to chase each other. Sugar naturally runs faster than Gavin can crawl, but the giggles crack me up. And they share dog biscuits. :blue
And Isaac! Do you know that that young man actually pulled out my chair for me at dinner last night? We were both sitting down at the same time, I saw him stop and hold on to the back of the chair and smile at me and wait for me to sit. :yikes I was so charmed. After Grandpa told him the other day to shut the screen door, Isaac responded with, “Thank you for telling me that, Grandpa.” WHERE DID WE GET THIS CHILD?
Our favorite post-bath activity is to all sit in Isaac’s room and play. Last night we played with my “vintage” Little People castle. Dog fetches, Daddy surfs, Gavin stands, Isaac pretends, and Mommy rests. It’s bliss. Pure bliss.
