Don’t Pig Out

It’s going to happen. As the flu season begins, people are going to start freaking out over the H1N1 virus “pandemic.” Just watch. The media will blitz the airwaves with dire predictions sending everyone into a fizz. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria.

So when you’re tempted to panic and go and eat a whole bag of cheeze doodles — because what the hey, we’re all gonna die anyway — remember the words of Barbara Loe Fisher of the National Vaccine Information Center:

“This is an overreaction. There is no national security threat here. Why are we operating like this? This is not polio. This is not smallpox.”
