Library School. Well, that’s what my mother called it when she took me way, way back when — about 35 years ago — in South Bend, Indiana. I hated it. It was crowded. So crowded I couldn’t see the pictures. And it smelled like the Dollar Store (and this was before they existed!). And it was just icky.
This is so different. Uncrowded. Singing and bubbles. And the moms stay. So that’s cool. It made a big impression on Isaac — BIG. He talked about it at lunch. I’d like to go again, but I think we’ll go to a different location.

Are you talking about reading time at the library? I can’t wait till I can go to those! Barnes and Noble also has a good reading time for kids every week (sometimes twice a week). You should swing by and ask for a schedule–it will tell you dates, times, and even what book they’ll be reading. The one on Woodruff Road has an excellent children’s department manager (I used to to work there).
I’m wondering if that is what you are talking about, too.
I still haven’t caught one and our library is so close now. I’ll have to work on it this week since summer is through.
I really, really need to get to the Library in downtown Seattle. We were there awhile back and the children’s area has it’s own theater and I really want to know what goes on in there http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/pacificnw/2004/0425/cover.html…I realize I have no idea how to insert a link here…so that’s all you are going to get of my little slice of heaven.
Yeah…it made it’s own link…
and I’m ashamed but I trying to figure out why my comments are working on my dashboard…so I’ll test here one more time.
Yes, yes, yes. . . . storytime. It was fun! My SIL did the B&N one too. I wouldn’t want a salespitch though when I go. Do they do that?
Now Seattle. That story time must have some killer coffee for the kids, right?
