I *finally* had the time to watch this. Your mother’s words reached through my mommy-fog and awakened that part of me that FEELS God. Thank you so much for sharing this very personal moment.
I’m glad for you that you have that video footage to pass on to your kids. What a sweet testimony of your grandma. Polish Catholics were very plentiful back in the early 1900s. I got a photo on 4th of July of my great grandparents that came from Poland. My grandpa (infant in the photo) resembles your grandpa in his older years! Must be those polish genes.
