{"id":4777,"date":"2014-05-12T13:24:57","date_gmt":"2014-05-12T17:24:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/?page_id=4777"},"modified":"2015-08-27T18:29:28","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T22:29:28","slug":"some-dark-corner-in-our-land","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/about\/conversations\/some-dark-corner-in-our-land\/","title":{"rendered":"Some Dark Corner in our Land"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/embed.spotify.com\/?uri=spotify:track:4qJ5FYleL82SFuCheDa1WL\" width=\"300\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>During the Spring Semester, 2014, as <a href=\"http:\/\/netgrace.org\/investigation\/bob-jones-university\/\">the GRACE investigation into Bob Jones University&#8217;s handing of sexual assault was continuing<\/a> and gaining national attention, BJU&#8217;s PR Director <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bju.edu\/pr\/author\/rpage\/\">Randy Page<\/a> contacted <a href=\"http:\/\/ngu.edu\/\">North Greenville University<\/a>\u00a0to get them to silence me.\u00a0Two national media articles framed the semester, one from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/02\/12\/education\/christian-school-faulted-for-halting-abuse-study.html?_r=0\">the New York Times<\/a> and another from <a href=\"http:\/\/prospect.org\/article\/next-christian-sex-abuse-scandal\">The American Prospect<\/a>. And two of my own articles (<a href=\"http:\/\/thewartburgwatch.com\/2014\/02\/28\/dr-camille-lewis-presents-the-stormy-history-life-at-bob-jones-university-2\/\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/thewartburgwatch.com\/2014\/05\/09\/sexual-abuse-and-christian-universities-is-bob-jones-university-ifb-using-its-clout-to-get-n-greenvile-universitysbc-to-shut-down-dr-camille-lewis\/\">here<\/a>) were published on a much smaller scale at evangelical whistle-blower site <a href=\"http:\/\/thewartburgwatch.com\/\">The Wartburg Watch<\/a>.
