Well, not yet. But almost.<\/p>\n

I’ve never labored outside of the hospital, so this is all new. They say if walking doesn’t make them go away and then if resting doesn’t make them go away, they are real. Well, these are real. When I walk, they HURT. When I rest, they are there.<\/p>\n

The doc checked and said, “Yup, you’re in very early labor.” I said, “But that could go on for weeks, right?” He said with a chuckle, “Let’s hope not. More like days.”<\/p>\n

No. . . . DAYS? NO. . . . I’ve still got to clean the house.<\/p>\n

So we stopped at Target for some last minute nesting. Kleenex, shampoo, coffee, napkins, baby socks, and burp clothes. And a pretty dotty tablecloth<\/a>. Who could resist that, right?<\/p>\n

Came home, and our just-spayed Sugar had pooed in her crate. Doh! So she and her crate innards needed scrubbing. Isaac needed scrubbing too. I did the inanimate washing; Grant washed everything animate. And boy! were they animate.<\/p>\n

Then I cleaned up the purple room in case Grandma and Grandpa have to spend the night with Isaac. Put the Fisher Price away. Stored the too big or too warm or too small clothes. Found the newborn stuff. Set side for laundering. Finished wrapping Isaac’s presents so he’s remembered too. A Jacob’s ladder. An outdoor ring toss game. And a Fuzzy Pumper Barber Shop.<\/p>\n

Found a dog pee spot. Cleaned it up. And set to work on the laundry again. Put away the Target purchases. Laid out my pretty tablecloth.<\/p>\n

Now what? Gavin, darlin’, you gotta give me a little time. I really need to:<\/p>\n

* Get a hair cut.
\n* Cut Isaac’s hair.
\n* Finish the editing of chapters 6 & 7.<\/p>\n

That’s the bare minimum. I’d *like* to do a few other things. Sewing and what-not. But whatever.<\/p>\n
