I don&#8217;t even hear what they&#8217;re saying. I just hear peace in the lilt of their voices.<\/p>\n<p>I got to see the hard-wiring for that\u00a0aural bond\u00a0installed on Sunday. Grant joined us for the congregational singing since there was\u00a0no formal\u00a0choir that morning. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/gavin\/news\/news1\/20060618.htm\">Gavin was enthralled<\/a> by Grant&#8217;s singing &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyberhymnal.org\/htm\/t\/i\/tismyfw.htm\">This is my Father&#8217;s World<\/a>.&#8221; He was totally riveted and lunged toward Daddy and was only content when he nuzzled Daddy&#8217;s shoulder.<\/p>\n<p>Another human example of how <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyberhymnal.org\/htm\/m\/s\/mshpwill.htm\">gently God parents us<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>My Shepherd will supply my need:<br \/>\nJehovah is His Name;<br \/>\nIn pastures fresh He makes me feed,<br \/>\nBeside the living stream.<br \/>\nHe brings my wandering spirit back<br \/>\nWhen I forsake His ways,<br \/>\nAnd leads me, for His mercy\u2019s sake,<br \/>\nIn paths of truth and grace.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When I walk through the shades of death<br \/>\nHis presence is my stay;<br \/>\nOne word of His supporting grace<br \/>\nDrives all my fears away.<br \/>\nHis hand, in sight of all my foes,<br \/>\nDoth still my table spread;<br \/>\nMy cup with blessings overflows,<br \/>\nHis oil anoints my head.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The sure provisions of my God<br \/>\nAttend me all my days;<br \/>\nO may Thy house be my abode,<br \/>\nAnd all my work be praise.<br \/>\nThere would I find a settled rest,<br \/>\nWhile others go and come;<br \/>\nNo more a stranger, nor a guest,<br \/>\nBut like a child at home.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whenever I hear my Dad pray or my Mom read a story, there&#8217;s a calm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2,14],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-301","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-faith","category-family"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
