From 2007-2009, he was president of Maranatha Baptist Bible College.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2011, 20\/20 broadcast an expos\u00e9 on Ernie Willis&#8217;s rape trial &#8212;<a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/2020\/video\/scarred-childhood-13334532\"> a broadcast in which I participated<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colonialindy.org\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=23\">Charles Phelps<\/a>, Ernie Willis&#8217;s pastor at the time of the rape and <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/hampshire-man-ernest-willis-sentenced-prison-rape-tina\/story?id=14460469\">defender at the time of the trial<\/a>, was interviewed for that broadcast as well. At that time, we did not know what we know now:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Charles Phelps was already back on the BJU Board of Trustees<\/strong><\/em>. We know that now. This is the kind of &#8220;minister&#8221; with which BJU aligns.
