Those eggs don&#8217;t need a human mommy. But still I feel obligated to mother them. I wasn&#8217;t sure they were in there until I took down the geraniums to trim and water. And I saw Mama Finch very upset. I watered carefully and returned the pot to the same location. I hope Mama and Papa Finch don&#8217;t abandon them. She hovered over her babies (from a distance) just like I hovered over mine.<\/p>\n<p>The Finch family built the same house three summers ago. In the hanging ferns. I worried then, but I didn&#8217;t have my own little chickadee either. I was waiting for him to come.<\/p>\n<p>Again though God gently reminds me that He&#8217;s hovering over me too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Isn&#8217;t that kinda the whole point?
