And <a title=\"Ebenezers\" href=\"The Ebenezer Series&quot; href=&quot;https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/ebenezers\/\" target=\"_blank\">the message I got at my church and in my study<\/a> were directly contradicting what I was hearing at BJU &#8212; in <a title=\"How To Get Grace From God\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/2008\/07\/14\/how-to-get-grace-from-god\/\" target=\"_blank\">a chapel sermon<\/a>, <a title=\"Measuring Kingdom Usefulness\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/2008\/07\/16\/measuring-kingdom-usefulness\/\" target=\"_blank\">a campus church sermon<\/a>, and a set of very popular <a title=\"Sokath! His Eyes Uncovered!\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/2008\/07\/18\/sokath-his-eyes-uncovered\/\" target=\"_blank\">books published through BJU Press<\/a>. I was wrestling with the whole issue in <a title=\"Ebenezer - A Second Chance\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/2008\/02\/24\/ebenezer-a-second-chance\/\" target=\"_blank\">my scholarship<\/a>, but before I said anything more, I had to say something internally. So . . . .<\/p>\n<p>This is the action I was motivated to take after really listening to message the students were receiving. This is <a title=\"Our Moorings\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0B6A7PtfmRgT7dk9vQXFxVGEwbWM\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">the email I sent to Stephen Jones<\/a> during Bible Conference, 2006 regarding &#8220;Our Moorings.&#8221; He and I finally talked about it on Monday, June 26, 2006 when, it seemed to me, he communicated that he <em>agreed<\/em> with what I was saying. My dean, Darren Lawson, communicated to me that Stephen had shared my email with some of the administrators in order to appropriately address my concerns. In August, Darren even asked me for a bibliography so he could read up for himself! <a title=\"The Meeting\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drslewis.org\/camille\/2008\/03\/02\/ebenezer-the-meeting\/\" target=\"_blank\">That all changed, of course.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Our Moorings\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0B6A7PtfmRgT7dk9vQXFxVGEwbWM\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">Read it for yourself<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God had my attention.
