If it’s ‘old’ throw it out, because it’s likely ‘dead’. What some people have done to historic christianity. If it’s ‘new’ don’t trust it, because there might be something seriously ‘wrong’ with it.Fear of the new. Best option, do nothing, change nothing, go nowhere, and ‘die’ in the absolute certainty of a mindless security of predictability for ‘total control’ from all posible outside invasion of ‘anything evil’ that might contaminate! Sterile, sanitized, fossilized, rationalized, deadinized fundamentalized, religionized UN Christianity. What’s left to celebrate? NOTHING. Just more of the same old, same old. And all they needed was a new light bulb for more light! “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins He is right and faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” “If we walk in the light as He is in the light…… It is a choice to walk in the light. We who have chosen towalk in the light, could no longer fellowship closely or professionally with those who would rather remain in the dark of ignorance and the shadows of their own denial. There is a price to pay for committment to come out into the light and live and walk in it. But its worth it, to find the blessed freedom of a clean conscience, knowing that Jesus is waiting for us, in the light, for us to join him, and walk with Him as a true friend, and be a true friend to others, rather than remain in the dark, and only be able to relate to Him as us being a part stranger and part acquaintance of His. Jesus has many acqaintances, but few friends. Being Jesus friend brings the greatest happiness to our lives. Acqaiantances know a lot of religious rules and information, some of it erroneous and useless. Which is why such christians seem powerless to change and love others. Friends know his ‘HEART’! So change the lightbulb already, and GET A LIFE MAN!
