During the Spring Semester, 2014, as the GRACE investigation into Bob Jones University’s handing of sexual assault was continuing and gaining national attention, BJU’s PR Director Randy Page contacted North Greenville University to get them to silence me. Two national media articles framed the semester, one from the New York Times and another from The American Prospect. And two of my own articles (here and here) were published on a much smaller scale at evangelical whistle-blower site The Wartburg Watch. I lay out the events below.
